Yes, we have an iPad 2 already since April 17, 12:45 am - registered!
Our iPad 2 came all the way from the U.S. and it was brought to us very carefully and hand-carried by my B's cousin who flew from US to PI to just personally handed over to us our dear baby. Thank you so much Bernard! We knew you will do anything that's best for us!

Okay, I know you would ask what's the difference of iPad 2 from the iPad 1. Here's the list of what things have changed between the two:
- iPad 2 processor has been improved from a 1GHz Apple A4 to a 1GHz dual-core Apple A5. So, it means the loading is faster.
- iPad 1 was either 680g or 730g depending on if you wanted 3G or not, the iPad 2 is just 601g with just Wifi.
- it has camera and not only one, but two new cameras. The front camera is VGA webcam and the back camera is capable of recording video at 720p. Oh well, than no cameras at all, right?
- the thickness of the entire unit has been reduced 33% from 13.4mm down to 8.8mm.
- Of course, there's FaceTime just like our iPhone 4's. As long as you have wifi connection, you're good to call whoever who have FaceTime either iPhone 4, MAC or of course, iPad 2. You can catch everything live using FaceTime.

This iPad 2 costs $499 US. Through my B's cousin's kindness, he bought this for us and of course, we paid him here when he arrived in PI. We were so excited when he handed this over to us. At last, no more sleepless nights hehehe. Finally.
Along with this was the Smart Cover which was one of the pasalubong we got from him. This Smart Cover works with magnets and automatically turns off and on the device when its screen is blocked. So cool eh?

I really love iPad 2. This is really great for us who are always out for work and have lots of gala; it's so nice and now, we are fearless to go anywhere. We have a bigger screen for the GPS which is very, very useful. We have tried this GPS when we went out of town last Holy Week and it does a perfect job! Taking down notes are now more way easier and more professional just the way I want it.
We are still in stage of getting to know and discovering the other features of our new baby. My B is now working on some apps and installing on it, so I just let him do that because those stuffs are really not my thing. He's the genius, lol!

Before I end this post, tomorrow, April 29, 2011, the iPad 2 will be launched to five (5) Power Mac Center in the Philippines: SM Megamall, SM Annex, Trinoma, Greenbelt 3 & SM Mall Of Asia.
