Yummy Treat with Family in Burgoo

Last Tuesday was another priceless moments with my family. I and hubby headed to North after our appointment in Makati. We arrived at my Mom's house at 2:00 p.m. and fetched my Momma and my nephew to attend my niece's 12th birthday celebration later that day.

We did strolling first at Trinoma. My Mom bought some Feng Shui stuffs at the Dept.Store and we headed to the 4th floor where a nice landscaping of garden is located. That time, the rain just stopped pouring and there's no fountain on yet. It's already been a long time since I last brought my Mom in Trinoma and I know she missed hanging out there again. Anyway, we had fun cam whoring.

When my sister texted me that they are on their way, we just crossed from Trinoma to the neighbouring SM The Block. It was already 6:00 p.m. We headed directly to Burgoo, 2nd floor of SM The Block. My sister, her husband and my niece were waiting there for us for a great birthday celebration for their one and only child - Pam, who is also my one and only niece. Our family is very small hehehe. I have 4 siblings and only 2 have one (1) child each and that's my niece and my nephew.

 In Burgoo (pronounce as Ber-gu), instead of putting place mats, I love their idea of putting white paper and a set of crayons are also provided. Perfect if you have kids with you, they can draw and play crayons while waiting for your ordered food. Nice eh? When the ordered food was starting to be served on the table, I suddenly got real hungry, lols!

We ordered 2 entrees, both large:
 Oklahoma Baby Back Ribs

We had two (2) large Stone Baked Pizza:
 Pizza Sampler

Again, I forgot to take photo of the other pizza which is the Hawaiian Delight as we were very hungry and started eating and food are still coming, lols!

We had pasta but not really my fave hehehe.

We also had Breaded Pork Chops and of course, bottomless Iced Tea. Well, all the food was D-E-L-I-S-H. Oh so yummy! It was my first time to dine in Burgoo. They have huge servings for Large ha. So I think, their regular serving is enough for two (2) persons. For me, the price is a bit steep but okay lang hehehe.

 Happy Birthday Pam!

What I like also in Burgoo was that they are giving a free Sundae if you are a birthday celebrant. Hmm... So anyone can just say it's his/her birthday just to avail of that free Sundae? Lols! That Sundae is P195.00 I think, not bad eh? Especially if they will serve the Sundae with 4 or 5 Burgoo staffs singing to you a Happy Birthday song with matching tambourines? We got so really, really surprise as they were singing out very loud with the instruments.

We had a smile on our face after the dinner. Just a sign that we were really, really full and enjoyed the food! So, you think we ate it all? Nope. A lot of food left so we had it take-out.Yey!


Around 8:30 p.m., we were driving in Edsa to send them home. It's only my sister, my niece and Momma at the back side. My Bro-in-law was left as he has a meeting with his friends. In the front side were me and my nephew to balance the car, lols! Ang dami kaya naming nakain, siyempre bumigat kami noh.. We drove home first to my Mom's house and after that was to my sisters'.

It was really a great and fun night again with my family.

Another Weekend in Bonifacio High Street - The Fort

In this month of September, we are celebrating the Family Day. If I'm not mistaken, there's a commercial ad of Sharon Cuneta pertaining to Family Day on the 27th of this month. Anyway, Family Day always happen everyday in everybody's home, ayt? Anyway, it seems that we are into celebration together with our family, and oh well, hubby and I literally did it this week.

Last Sunday, together with my hub's family, we get bonded in Bonifacio High Street. Hubby and I fetched his brother with his family from San Juan City at around 2:00 p.m. and headed straight to Krispy Kreme in Bonifacio High Street. Mamita (hub's mom), and his other sibling were waiting for us there. As I've mentioned from my previous post, I still go for the High Street if we talk about bonding with family. That place is perfect to get bond with.




Moving on, after having our light merienda at KK (Krispy Kreme), they already went out and started lounging outside in the benches. They are very fond of cute Jolyn who is now trying to master the walking without somebody holding her. While they are having fun outside, I and hubby decided to stay inside the KK and enjoyed their free Wi-Fi. We did facebook-ing. What else pa ba? Hehehe...



After half an hour, we joined them outside, set our tri-pod and did some photo shoot.

Oh yes, kelangan may background ng NIKE. Hehe...

I love this place. We had seen a lot of dogs with various breed. In here, your pets are also allowed to lounge around together with you. What breed I really love amongst them that day?

Ang laki naman shower na yan hehe... Like!

As we were heading towards the Serendra, it was decided that we will take our dinner in Eastwood City (QC) but to our dismay, the Gerry's Grill where we are supposed to go was already been closed. So, we headed to Market! Market! where the Fort branch of the restaurant is. It was only 6:30 p.m. then, but we got hungry so early.

We're so full after the yummy dinner (Thank you Ate Babs). By the way, I love my keds doll shoes. It was my first time to use it with socks and it didn't hurt anymore. Haven't I told you that I got blister in my left foot the last time I wore it without any socks on it? Yes, it was painful. The shoe size just fit me right at first but after a long hour of walking, it doesn't fit right anymore with my foot (but only the left shoe alone). It tends to loose and it rubs uncomfortably to my skin and caused me one blister after. Though it was just small, it was still painful, duh!

Hair Care: L'Oreal Elseve Smooth Intense Nutri-Smoothing Mask

Remember this post? So you think I religiously did it, huh? Sorry I didn't coz I should have finished that one (1) tub in 3-4 months only but hey, I'm just about to finish my tub only this month hehehe. One (1) more used then I'm done with the tub. Yes, and I'm feeling guilty of not taking special care to my hair. I am lazy dog!

I bought a new L'Oreal Elseve Smooth Intense Nutri-Smoothing Mask. Do you know how much is it now? It is only PhP250.00 compared to my last purchased which is PhP375.00. Good buy eh?

I asked the SA (Sales Assistant) why it is cheaper now, she just said it is because they changed the packaging. Lols! Is she pulling my leg? What a nice answer eh? It's like asking her name and answered she's 21 years old hehehe. Anyway, sometimes it pays if you tried it yourself the product na lang. I'm just confused what the sudden drop of the price is and I can't avoid thinking if it is the same content of the tub. I've checked the ingredients, labels, etc. and nothing changed though. It is only the packaging.

This is to compare the old packaging to the new one. You should notice that the color of the new packaging is darker. Plus, the Anti-Frizz Mask was changed to Nutri-Smoothing Mask. It has the same job though.

I really love the scent.

Yey! I realized that my hair grown long unnoticeable. Uh-oh, L'Oreal has nothing to do if my hair grows fast or slow, lols! I must say how L'Oreal works on my hair. 

Likes:
o It has heaven scent.
o Does its job really well.
o Got results in just first application.
o Really has smooth hair after it dries.
o Hair smoothness lasted in one (1) week.

Dislikes:
o It makes my scalp itchy in the 1st and 2nd day after wash.
o It caused me dandruff from 1st to 2nd day after wash.
o My hair feels heavy in the 1st day after wash.

Verdict:
o I love it. I can stand with the itch. It just occurs very seldom in a day though. I will not get tired of using this product.

How about you? Are you doing also a Do-It-Yourself (DIY) treatment to your hair at home? By the way, I used it once a week but sometimes once in every 2 weeks. Depends if I'm not getting lazy hehehe. It is applied like a conditioner. After shampooing and rinsing your hair, squeeze out the water excess from your hair or you can dampen it with a towel then applied an ample amount. Leave it for 2-3 minutes as instructed in the tub but what I always do is leaving it for 10 minutes hehehe, then rinse off. Well, nothing harm happened to my hair though.

NIKE Zoom Courtside Force X & NIKE Air Training Team Backpack

I and hubby were failed again. We were failed not to buy NIKE stuffs until December comes. I know, this is a serious addiction but if this is just the way to help us de-stress and would bring us happiness and satisfaction, why should we stop from it? We are harmless and we don't rob anybody nor swindle anybody to feed our addiction hehehe.

As I posted from my previous posts, we went to a 3-Day Nike & Adidas Clearance Sale in Mega Trade Hall (Megamall) yesterday. We cancelled our out-of-town trip due to this "shouldn't-be-missed" Clearance Sale and also because my hubby had attended his Uncle's funeral today.
